Meet John

John Allsop is a social worker with 30+ years of frontline experience.

He has supported individuals, families, and communities through:

  • Mental health and crisis situations

  • Domestic and family challenges

  • Natural disasters and trauma events

Including working directly with communities impacted by the Queensland floods, providing emotional and practical support during recovery.

Throughout his career, John has supported individuals and families through some of life's most challenging circumstances. As part of national crisis response teams, he has assisted Australians impacted by international disasters and major traumatic events. He was honoured to be selected by the Australian Government to provide support to victims and their families during the 10-year commemoration of the Bali Bombings, reflecting the trust placed in his experience, compassion and professional expertise.
